Giuliani is clearly ahead no matter which Dem is put up against him.
McCain scores well also against Clinton and Obama, but Edwards gives him a run. Go figure
Romney is clearly outgunned in any matchup with a Dem at this point.
It's still WAY early, but some trends are starting to become noticeable.
No mention of Fred Thompson...yet.
The press is already like a pack of rabid dogs on Giuliani. Which this is okay but his very first one he badly mishandled in my opinion. They were pressing him on his appointment for Police Commissioner and he buckled and admitted he made a mistake and should have looked into the man’s background better. He should have merely stated that he was not aware of any problems when he appointed him and then remained quiet and thus loyal to his choice. Kerik was a good police Commissioner and helped much to get the crime on the streets cleaned up in NY. He also was able to help get some control over the unions that were bankrupting the city. Once the press gets him on the run there will be no stopping them. The Clintons when this route. It’s simply not the way. Especially since Giuliani has sooooo many skeletons. But as I said we need a street smart, street fighter as a president to get us thru these times. Bb
