When is a tax increase NOT a tax increase?

When that noted Truthsayer Barry O'Bama says it isn't.

The constitutionality of this is highly suspect, but no one on the "regressive" side seems to care about things like since last year's election.

You will notice that Obama once again fails (on purpose) to acknowledge the dichotomy of mandatory health insurance and mandatory auto liability insurance.

UPDATE: It's officially a tax:
"If you put something in the Internal Revenue Code, and you tell the IRS to collect it, I think that's a tax," said Clint Stretch, head of the tax policy group for Deloitte, a major accounting firm. "If you don't pay, the person who's going to come and get it is going to be from the IRS."

  1. Obama says requiring people to get health insurance and fining them if they don't would not amount to a backhanded tax increase.
"I absolutely reject that notion," .....
And I called that Barnyard Bovine Excrement, trying to be nice so kiddies can read the post.

Then "Chairman" Obama went on to say when
host George Stephanopoulos pressed him so much on the issue that, after Obama accused him of making things up, Stephanopoulos read the definition of "tax" from Merriam-Webster's dictionary.
"George, the fact that you looked up [in] Merriam's dictionary the definition of ‘tax increase' indicates to me that you're stretching a little bit right now," Obama replied.

Who is stretching what?? More lies from the "Liar in Chief". But the usual Obamazombie suspects will let it pass right over their head which really isn't so hard to do since they have their heads up their backside so far that ground level is over their heads.

  2. Ticker, yeah...just like he didn't know anything about ACORN receiving federal money. selahV

  3. ".....just like he didn't know anything about ACORN receiving federal money."

I wonder if he knows the Pope is Catholic?

  4. Bubba...uh, I think religious conversation may also be "above his pay grade". I mean, until after he ran for potus, he didn't even have any idea how his own pastor of 20 years believed. That amazes me. Well, not really. Just amazes me he'd claim that he didn't know his pastor preached a theology that didn't include folks like me. selahV
