For more than a year, I've been talking about how this "crisis" was mostly one of a lack confidence at many levels, and in many different areas. This is borne out by the actual statistics and which show that the actual "crisis" was nowhere near as bad as certain parties needed it to be.
Those certain parties who constantly beat the doom and gloom drum initially did so mostly to advance a political, social, and economic agenda, and in this case, the desired effect was to bamboozle voters into supporting a "progressive" into the presidency, and to increase "progressive" control in Congress. Others were also intent on manipulating equities and commodities for profit.
This little scam morphed into a bogus "Hope 'n Change" concept, which succeeded beyond their wildest dreams, empowered by the Tank Media, and some well placed babble, dribble, drool and spew about some imminent financial apocalypse.
They continue the subversive campaign now in order to scare people into accepting more government intrusion and control over the citizens. The campaign is effective, and it looks like the goals are being accomplished.
Once the transformation has been completed, it will never be countermanded.
Say goodbye permanently to the concepts and the rights that made the American experience unique in all of recorded history.
Thanks, Doomers and Gloomers. You've accomplished a task the extent of which is so immense that it can hardly be measured.
