He put up this post Saturday in which he suggested that Republicans encouraged the situation involving Joe Killian at the Palin rally Thursday, and further suggests that Republicans would be responsible for violence against a presidential candidate:
"And maybe I’m paranoid, but when supporters of one political movement get angry and desperate enough to start assaulting journalists, it makes me unhappily certain that things have gotten bad enough that there’s someone out there waiting for his chance to take a shot, quite literally, at the leader of the other side."
That is absolutely and unequivocally over the line of decency.
I call upon John Robinson, Alexander's editor in chief at the News and Record, to publicly repudiate Alexander's remarks.
In case Alexander deletes the comment I left on his disgusting slime of a thread, I will repeat it here:
Quoting Alexander:

My response:
"Garbage.
Absolute, utter garbage.

What do you expect from one of the usual suspects except garbage. I guess Lex forgets about the middle aged lady who was peacefully handing out pamphlets on the street corner under the protection of the Constitution and was beaten with one her sign by an Obamazombie and Lex has the gall to even attempt to make a big deal out of it.

Big brave men assaulting WOMEN in both instances of Obamazombies attacking folks. At least the person at Elon had the balls to go after a man, one who could defend himself if HE were actually attacked and feared for his safety. Makes ya wonder doesn't it?
Do you really thing Robinson will do any thing much less call for a retraction? That is his kind of reporting or it wouldn't have made the cut for print. Remember Wray, and lord knows remember the Peace and Justice Commission or what ever name it was called. I called it BS from the start and it was and is.

ReplyDeleteYou need a better authority. My wife, who is not under the same professional constraints that I am, put the sign out. I asked her if she would remove it because of my work situation. Reluctantly, she did. It was out there for about a day.
