"Objectivity? We don' need no stinkin' objectivity. We're JOURNALISTS!"

Here's your "global warming" True Believer nonsense item of the day.

Editor&Publisher columnist Steve Outing publishes a non tongue in cheek piece urging journalists to forget about objectivity when it comes to writing about "global warming."

He obviously needs no fact checking either when it comes to the over-the-top True Believer hype he repeats as gospel:

"There's clearly scientific consensus that humans are altering the planet's climate, and that the effect is accelerating. Stronger hurricanes, melting glaciers and sea ice, worse wildfires and longer fire seasons, more severe droughts and flooding, and more frequent bizarre weather events overall. "

As we have often detailed here and elsewhere, there is NO empirical evidence that that type of reasoning is true.

Here's the fun part, contained in a reply comments, where the writer is rightly taken to task for his stance.

The best reply:

"Your whole contention about newspapers giving up objectivity, so as to battle global warming, is akin to a whore giving up her virginity to honor Santa Claus.

Both are incapable of giving up something already long gone for some collective fantasy."
