Congratulations Appalachian!

At least one of our local interest David and Goliath sports stories worked out.

It's too bad John Isner couldn't cut down on the unforced errors.

Otherwise, we could have gone 2 for 2 today in winning the Battles of the Biblical Allegories.

  1. Looking For Gangs And Drugs In Greensboro?

The Bloods have set up shop and are servicing hundreds of customers daily at 1108 Willard Street, corner Textile & Willard in the frame house with the handicapped ramps.

This is across the street from my house, our children are now confined to the house as are other nearby children. Cars drive up, drop people off, drive around the block and pick them back up. Others park a block away.

A lot of red shoes, hats and other items of clothing adorn these young mostly Black but occasionally Hispanic and White men and boys.

We are now prisoners in our own homes. Their coming and going never stops. It slows in the daytime but goes full bore all night long. I've called GPD but nothing has happened.

  2. Hmmm.....

Off topic, but interesting nevertheless, Anon.

But don't you remember what John Robinson suggested not too long ago......that gangs were no big deal in Greensboro, in defense of the News and Record's inattention to the problem?
