"[D]uring World War II, the Japanese...gave their psychological
warfare script to their famous broadcaster 'Tokyo Rose' and every
day she would broadcast this same message packaged in different
ways, hoping it would have a negative impact on American GI's
morale.
What was that demoralizing message? It had three main
points:
1. Your President is lying to you.
2. This war is
illegal.
3. You cannot win the war."
---David Horowitz
Sound familiar?
Where have we heard THOSE particular talking points in recent times?
Never ceases to amaze me that the terrorist talking points are strikingly reflective of the Dem's talking points. Or vice versa.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder who's leading who?
Japanese terrorist, Jaycie?
ReplyDeleteI don't see any similarity. The President wasn't lying about war being declaired on Japan or which country the Japanese were in, and the rest is enemy propaganda.
"....and the rest is enemy propaganda."
ReplyDeleteNot to be confused with liberal propaganda, although it IS in the same vein.......
Not at all. An enemy attacking the troops is not the same as someone attacking the government to protect the troops. You really lose me when you get into the broad liberal/conservative statements. That's always like balming something on the boogieman.
ReplyDelete"You really lose me when you get into the broad liberal/conservative statements."
ReplyDeleteThat's usually the case when readers don't understand sardonic humor, and always take things too literally or too seriously.
People who need help in that area should ask John Kerry about "nuance". He learned it during the '04 election when he needed to cover up his obtuse and screwball statements.
The liberal attacks on the administration, the war, the conservatives, et. al., is an attempt to destroy President Bush and a conservative upswelling that has stripped the libs and Dems of their corrupting power in the last few years.
ReplyDeleteThere's no nobility in what the libs/Dems are doing, no "protecting the troops," no honor, no integrity, and no regard for the citizens of our country. Just the raw pursuit of liberal power through increased taxes, social programs to bribe low-income voters, and government takeover of our lives.
We ain't buying it.
A missunderstanding wouldn't be the case in this instance. You must mean sarcastic humor. Thanks for example jaycie. I'm LMAO at that. I liked the "conservative upswelling", an erection for power. Or, is it an erection for the stripped libs and dems? Too much humor to list! Government take over of our lives...we ain't buying it. I love the way that came off. I've got to admit, you guys really got me. You have eerything going here except a link to Ann's new book. Well done.
ReplyDelete"You must mean sarcastic humor."
ReplyDeleteUMMMM, you DO know that "sarcastic" and "sardonic" are synonyms, don't you?
From dictionary.com:
sar·don·ic Audio pronunciation of "sardonic" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (sär-dnk)
adj.
Scornfully or cynically mocking. See Synonyms at sarcastic.
shuffles, you need to take those Dem blinders off and open your eyes to the real world.
ReplyDeleteI don't for a minute think the Dems are naively blundering down the road. Their media and congressional efforts are coldly calculated to separate the taxpayers from their hard earned money and use it for social programs [vote buying] to shore up their diminishing power.
