The Stakes Are High in the Mid East

As usual, Krauthammer is right.

Excerpt:

"But again, who needs history? As the Palestinian excuses for continuing their war disappear one by one, the rhetoric is becoming more bold and honest. Just last Tuesday, Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, writing in The Washington Post, referred to Israel as 'a supposedly "legitimate" state.'"

I am not amazed anymore that the misinformed and the Israeli Derangement Syndrome sufferers always want to blame Israel for "perpetuating the cycle of violence", and are content to let the Jihadists continue their attempts to wipe the state of Israel off the map.

What an uneducated, agendized-driven, unfounded policy position that is!

The Israelis will solve their problem. They always have.

The Jihadists and those that enable them worldwide won't like it.

Too bad.

They will have no one but themselves to blame for the results.

  1. Captain Ed says the Saudis may solve this problem before the Israelis get REALLY pissed.

  2. Krauthammer is right on again. I did a post on his May 8th column that was chilling. Is this the last go round? Israel certainly has done all that they can, or that can be expected, to appease their Arab neighbors and live in peace. Except to just die of course. I believe the Israeli leaders have known all along that a final show down had to come, but they dotted all the i’s and crossed all the t’s as the world demanded first.
Glenn, Amen and ditto to the stated fact that the Saudis always know the right things to say in public. They have been taking the world in forever while they go about their Islamic agenda behind the smiles.
I don’t think anyone can stop Israel from what they feel they must do. No one ever has in the past with the possible exception of not getting involved in Gulf War I at the request of Bush I.
This is a situation to watch closely. BBowers

  3. "He believes Israelis attacks on Syria would be more effective. He also said he believes the US and the West will stop Israel short of destroying Hezbollah."

    Interesting.

Peters is gaining a lot of respect in this area, so his opinion is to be given weight.

  4. I think Israel will not let that happen, Glenn. They need to put a stop to this now.

The coming escalation by the Israelis won't be pretty.

  5. I believe Ahmadinejad is this century's Hitler. He's a Holocaust denier and said he wants to exterminate the Jews.
I think Iran, Syria, etc., are trying to make Israel the bad guy so world opinion will help Iran do what it seeks...which is to emasculate Israel to make it easier for Iran to wield power in the Middle East.
I find it hard to believe that there are still so many people with their heads in the sand over the Islamic-Fascist terrorist threat to the entire world.
