Why the Left Needs Racism--II - WSJ.com

Excerpt:

"Baselessly accusing their political foes of racism is a way in which today's liberals attempt to incite fear and loathing of 'the other.' As we argued last year, this serves a political purpose in that it helps persuade blacks not to consider voting Republican. But it serves a psychological purpose as well. It reinforces white liberals' sense of their own superiority."

Hmmm.....which groups local to Greensboro use the same tactic?

  1. Without bogus claims of racism Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be unemployed!

  2. Yes, indeed. They've become quite the capitalists by the use of it,haven't they?

  3. I've personally grown intolerant of the left's baseless presumptions of racism but I do not believe it only "reinforces white liberals' sense of their own superiority". I believe it is a form of racism itself as it requires viewing the world from a race based perspective.

    No doubt.

It's been an effective way to keep the vicitimization dependency thriving, and a way to silence those who would criticize the secular relativism that dominates the "progressive" scourge inflicted upon our nation and our culture.

  5. I agree with the previous comments. And I believe that there is at least one more dimension to the claims of racism used by some individuals. When they do not get exactly what they want, they claim that the reason their desires were not fulfilled was racism. My news for them is that other races do not get all their dreams realized either.

    Life is tough.

Life is even tougher for those who choose to rely on the pandering of those who specialize in victimization to gain political, social, and economic power.
