What are the chances of ANY of these facts surviving Obamacare?

Read the ten facts that Scott Atlas has found regarding health care in the United States.

Noteworthy:

"Medical care in the United States is derided as miserable compared to health care systems in the rest of the developed world. Economists, government officials, insurers and academics alike are beating the drum for a far larger government rĂ´le in health care. Much of the public assumes their arguments are sound because the calls for change are so ubiquitous and the topic so complex. However, before turning to government as the solution, some unheralded facts about America's health care system should be considered."

  1. Some other interesting facts about Health care and the myth that 47 million are without health insurance.

17 million of those folks make $50K per yr.That's about 38%

9 million of those folks make $75K per year

18 million are the invincible 18-34 year olds. That's about 40%

    12 Million are undocumented illegals.

14 million chose to opt out of the insurance offered by their companies . That's about 31%

Now the law says that a hospital MUST treat anyone who is ill and is within 250 yards of the ER regardless of legality , insurance or income and they get the same care as those who are responsible and have insurance.

That leaves about 8 million who are actually uninsured. That includes all the homeless who chose the lifestyle they live and wish to remain irresponsible and don't care.

So the 47 million that the Chief Occupier , bleeding hearts, and the usual suspects that we all know who spout the numbers without any real facts to back them up.

Well, there's the facts. Now tell me why we need Universal coverage other than to drag medicine into pure socialism and down to the lower rungs as is found in Canada and Europe.
