Could be, according to this.

"The public thinks Democrats do better on economic issues, and the financial crisis erased the bounce in the polls that John McCain received from the Republican convention. After the second presidential debate, Mr Obama widened his lead, but dangers remain.
Polls show that Republicans do better on the issue of terrorism. Last June, McCain adviser Charlie Black was reprimanded for having the temerity to point out that the intrusion of a terrorist event into the campaign would 'certainly be a big advantage' for Mr McCain. Mr Black may have been politically incorrect but an objective analysis suggests he might be right."
I don't buy it.
An Obama presidency would send an unmistakable message to radical Islamist terrorists of all stripes that the heat is off, and that acts of terror can largely go forward with impunity, thereby empowering their despicable cause. Obama poses no physical or emotional threat to these low lifes.
I don't think the terrorists are so stupid to blow their chance to potentially make strong headway if Obama is elected. A McCain win would eliminate that possibility.
Why should any terror group fear Obama after all he has been in their camp since the 90's. http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=57341
ReplyDeleteThere are links to other article which show why the terrorist should have no fear should Obama be elected.

Terrorists and Democrats have a common goal---to push out the Republicans that prevent them from accomplishing their goals.
