Not to be outdone by Obama and Edwards

Ms. Rodham introduces Hillary Care II.

Surprise, Surprise!

Hillary says:

"'This is not government-run,' Clinton said of her plan to extend coverage to an estimated 47 million Americans who now go without."

The article goes on to say:

"She called for a requirement for businesses to obtain insurance for employees..."

....and then this:

"....businesses, in turn, would be required to offer insurance to employees, or contribute to a government-run pool that would help pay for those not covered."

Government run, government mandate: the difference is only in the semantics.

Before I get the knee-jerk responses, let's stipulate one thing: Government mandate of automobile insurance is quite different from government mandate of health insurance.

A question for all......

What is the amount of North Carolina's unfunded health care mandates?

  1. If you think health care is expensive now, just wait until it's free.
