For those of you under a certain age, this the title of this piece was inspired by the old kids interview segment that Jack Linkletter used to have on his daytime TV show years ago.
More painful truth:

A liberal friend of mine opined the other day that Mitt Romney would never be elected. "The country isn't ready to have a Mormon in a leadership position."

I got a blank look for a few seconds, until he said, "He is??"
