Fugly scene

I hope it's nowhere near as bad as it looks.

UPDATE:

See the comments for some of the Bush Derangement Syndrome nonsense being spewed by the Nutroots regarding this disaster.

  1. I've already seen blog comments elsewhere laying the blame for the bridge collapse squarely where it belongs--on President Bush!!
He spent so much money on Iraq that he failed to repair the Minneapolis bridge!
Next we'll see Spike Lee claiming that Bush and Cheney donned their wetsuits and rigged the MN bridge with explosives left over from the World Trade Center and New Orleans levees.

  2. It's always Bush's fault. Even when it's not.

  3. Here's some of the sh#t the Nutroots are saying....

    Good example:

"Every week there's a new national tragedy...tainted food, nutcases with automatic weapons, structural damage to cities, hospital patients dropped on the streets, dysfuctional transportation system, poorly cared for vets, trashed education system, national disasters from global warming. I am waiting for a national figure with the balls to call these warning signs what they are: Republican disdain for and neglect of government oversight, venality, insensitivity to human suffering, tax breaks for rich folks, blatant government incompetence, dirty politics, and bleeding our resources in an immoral f-----k war."

  4. Hot Dam but SuperPresident Bush is goood! He not only rides and directs hurricanes into unsuspecting cities, he floods entire regions of the country, knocks down buildings two at a time, starts forest fires and mud slides and then doesn't show adequate compassion for those who lost their homes and now he is going around demolishing bridges during rush hour no less. It is a real shame the eruption of Mount St. Helene happened in 1980. But Hey, I have faith that Daily Kos will get around to finding evidence that he was responsible for that too. BB

  5. Actually Brenda, some of the Fringe Kooks have decided that "global warming' is to blame.

We already know that's all Bush's fault, too.
