....from Power Line.

"I wonder whether those children know how hard many here in America are working to turn them over to the tender mercies of those who operated the Diyala prison."

I would hope not.

They don't need to know about those Americans who only use them for selfish political reasons.

  1. I was on the treadmill at the gym yesterday morning, watching both CNN and FoxNews at the same time.
    Lead story on CNN:
They played tapes of a US soldier who claimed we didn't have enough soldiers to do the job, the war wasn't being run properly, etc.
    Lead story on FoxNews:
US military and tribal leaders in Anbar province were working together and had quelled the terrorist's influence in that area.

The public here in the US doesn't know 3% of what's happening in Iraq because all they see on the MSM is death, destruction, and the Dems trying to unseat the Republicans no matter how many Americans die from their efforts.

  2. The disinformation is very close to being criminal.

The babble, dribble, drool and spew in the blogosphere from those who have no clue will be confronted whenever it appears.

  3. I have been pro war but I'm losing my patience with it.

Just what are we accomplishing? How can we possibly trust the Iraqi army to do the right thing and help us out?

How can we stop the IED's?

We appear to be sitting ducks walking around waiting to be blown up. Unless we can somehow stop the flow of the explosives, this seems like an exercise in futility.

  4. anonymous, you only see a very small percentage of the real war on your TV news. You'll only ever hear a very small percentage of actual intelligence that the US receives every day.
In short, if you only know what you hear from the mainstream media about the war it's no wonder you're fed up! The goal of the mainstream media is to assist the Dems in turning the American public against the Bush administration. If you believe what they say, you're falling into the trap.
99.9% of Iraq goes about their everyday business with no interference from terrorists. You hear about the other .1% as if that's all that's happening there. Don't fall for it!!
