Pure, unadulterated attempt to criminalize politics, and it's pure, unadulterated bullshit.
He knew from the very beginning who provided the information to Novak. He couldn't indict anyone for a crime in the original case that he was investigating, so he scrounged for something, ANYTHING that would keep him from being a complete failure.
Fitzgerald is a political hack.
He makes Mike Nifong look like an ethical prosecutor.
Let's send him off to chase ambulances for a living.

ReplyDeleteI suspect that the majority of that committee ( Democrats ) would have to vote a referal to to the DOJ Criminal Divison for prosecution. I don't know if Justice can reach down and pluck this case out and seek an indictment. I am sure that the US Attorney ( DC in this case )could not move without the prior approval of the some high authority in the Dept.
Bond has certainly done his homework and there seems to be a prima facie case here for perjury against Plame-Wilson
