.....will now turn to de-legitimizing our military people.
The disgusting truth:
"Sorry to tell you, but you soldiers are now in a two front war with Islamic extremism and Liberal extremism. But you are not alone. Some of us understand what is happening and will at least promote your voices, no matter what your message, in order to make sure the media doesn't speak for you."
Yes, and the troops know the difference too Bubba. That BS "WE support the troops but not the war" stuff is doing more to kill our troops than anything else because it keeps the terrorist fighting knowing they are winning politically in the US.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, here's how Congress "supports our troops".
ReplyDeleteKey point:
"The motion at issue is plainly dishonest, in that exquisitely Congressional way of trying to have it both ways.
The resolution purports to "support" the troops even as it disapproves of their mission. It praises their "bravery," while opposing the additional forces that both President Bush and General David Petreaus, the new commanding general in Iraq, say are vital to accomplishing that mission. And it claims to want to "protect" the troops even as its practical impact will be to encourage Iraqi insurgents to believe that every roadside bomb brings them closer to their goal."
