The Dems Are RunningScared

They're desperate to stop the ABC 9-11 program.

Noteworthy:

"Former New Jersey Gov. Thomas Kean, a Republican who chaired the 9/11 commission and served as a consultant for the ABC miniseries, defended the production as politically balanced."

Funny, we didn't here a thing from theDems/Libs/Lefties over "The Regans" a while back.

And it's also funny about how they deny the media has any power when it comes to changing public opinion, particularly when it comes to undermining support for the Bush Administration's policies.

It's the same old story-- they're good at dishing it out, but they're terrible at taking it when it's focused back in their direction.

  1. This IBD editorial sums up this subject precisely.

    Great close:

"It was the Clinton administration that could have put Osama bin Laden out of commission.

It was under Clinton that Americans were killed by terrorists on three continents without a meaningful response.

It was under Bill Clinton that we left Somalia in disgrace after dead Americans were dragged through the streets, giving bin Laden all the proof of our lack of will he needed.

And it was Clinton's deputy attorney general, Jamie Gorelick, who created the wall of separation between the FBI and CIA that kept us from connecting the information and preventing 9-11."

But the "Clinton Legacy" must be protected at all costs against the truth, as evidenced by the babble, dribble, drool and spew we now hear from the Clintonista apologists on this subject.

  3. Deadwood's ending was a little anti-climactic for my taste.

I can't wait for season 2 of Rome, however. They've got GREAT potential for an even better second season there.

It should exceed the standard for Roman empire drama, as set by the old BBC/PBS series "I, Claudius" years ago.

I hear the ABC production really isn't all that good anyway, despite the controversy. I'll watch it anyway.

That way, I'll be qualified to comment when we get the usual Dem/Lib pissing and moaning, assuming ABC doesn't cave.
