"Over the years I have pointed out that the Democratic definition of bi-partisan is: 'Do what we want'."
---Rich Galen
What do you want to bet that a certain recent poster will NOT ask me for a link for THIS quote from the Patriot Post?
Rich Galen is not in the the pantheon of heroes esteemed by certain local bloggers, as was the case of the subject of a more recent post.
Bubba, a technical issue: The links in your RSS feed to individual posts aren't in fact linking to those posts; you get a 404 (no such page) error message when you follow them. That's got to be a problem on Blogger's end, so you might want to follow up with them.
ReplyDeleteGood luck.
This post linked from an RSS feed just fine, but I think I know what may be causing the problem Lex experienced. If one publishes a post and it gets sent to the RSS feed, then the author edits the post and saves it with a differnt file name (as can happen when the title is changed), the RSS feed points to the old file name which has now been changed making the RSS link invalid.
ReplyDeleteEasy solution. Double-check titles before publishing because if you go back an edit them, there is a good chance the link to it in the RSSS feed won't work.
Thanks, both of you.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right, Roch. I edit sometimes when I discover inadverent bad grammer and spelling errors, or typos. Sometimes, I just don't like the headline, or the way I've phrased something in the original post.
I'm no tech expert, either.
