Why should we be surprised at their take on this? The Nutroots think: 1) world history began the day George W. Bush was inaugurated 2) everything that's happened everywhere in the world is directly related to his Presidency (including the weather!) 3) the world will be a rosy place once he's gone. (I'm bettin' there some Jihadists in the Middle East that will prove that assumption wrong!)
It's such a shame to see some otherwise intelligent people blinded by their hatred of President Bush because they lost power in the last few elections.
Like duh! Any man who could ride a hurricane and direct it right into a large city, or plan and execute as plot to knock down two huge buildings with a lot of people in them can surely round up a bunch of nutsos to kill themselves and a lot of other people on airplanes, doncha know? Actually I’ll bet he could even take down those planes just by wriggling his nose, but being a modest kind of guy he didn’t want all the credit so he let some other people in on it. BB
It may well be that the latest attempts at terrorism can't be blamed on Bush, but you can damn well be sure he didn't have a damn thing to do with their being caught. After all, it was the Brits who stopped this one.
