By endorsing an article that calls for the government to monitor lawyers because of who some of their clients are, their nation of birth and their political affiliations, you are making it quite clear that the Bushtistas have now become frightened beyond all reason and are no longer capable of sound judgment.
If our constitutional republic is to survive, power and decision-making authority will have to go to those brave enough not to allow terrorists to intimidate us into abandoning the very freedoms that make America worth fighting for. Thank you for helping to delineate the choice.
As usual, you missed the point......quite on purpose, I'm sure.
The whole ACLU suit stinks of political and personal agrenda, and the "plaintiffs" have clear-cut ties to people and organizations that need to be monitored.
Your knee-jerk reactionary responses are getting old.
Doesn't surprise me a bit. Terrorists groups are increasing savvy at using the news media and other forms of influence in our free society to garner support for their murderous cause. Looks like these lowlifes/plaintiffs are just another arm of the terrorist organization.
Pretty blatant conflict of interest, if you ask me:
"...Judge Diggs Taylor served as Secretary and Trustee for the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan (CFSEM). She was reelected to this position in June 2005. The official CFSEM website states that the foundation made a “recent grant” of $45,000 over two years to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Michigan, a plaintiff in the wiretapping case. Judge Diggs Taylor sided with the ACLU of Michigan in her recent decision."
I'd like to thank you, Bubba. Sincerely.

You need to do MUCH better than that.
