If It's A "Big Deal", Like They Claim, Then WHY Do they oppose The cures?

Anyone got a clue?

"Hypocrisy" you say?

Nah.....not from THEM! Unthinkable!

Cue the usual True Believer responses.

  1. Will nuclear power fuel your car? Can it be used as a petroleum replacement for the creation of plastics? Is it safer to build a new nuclear power plant or a wind farm? Those are just *some* of the reasons why "greens" oppose nuclear power. Oh, and no one wants a nuclear plant in their back yard.

  2. Oh, and when was the last time you had an original thought in your brain? I can't find the last time you actually *wrote* a post on your own blog instead of linking to other people's writings.

What's up with that? Too lazy to form your own coherent thoughts or do you just like scouring the right-wing sites for stuff to post as a hobby?

    Typical liberal hypocrite.

  4. Bubba, I see you too are plagued with people who come on your site regularly and then criticize your form of blogging. I also noticed that you got nicked for not giving enough of your own opinions but directing people to others sites, while I got the slash for giving nothing but my opinion. What I can't fathom is why they visit our sites if they don't like them. I certainly don't waste my time on sites I dislike, not with the banquet the blogosphere offers. BB Brenda Bowers

  5. Where's your little buddy, roger? You two are usually in lock step.

Taking a big chance venturing out all by your lonesome self on the big bad conservative's blog?

    Wow! I'm impressed.....

Brenda, I find it's typical behavior for those who live their shallow little lives by finding fault with every opinion that doesn't agree with their worldview. They're NEVER wrong, as they arrogantly snark away.

When I first strated contributing on internet message boards and blogs, I tried engaging them in honest, repectful debate, but they would much rather babble, dribble, drool and spew their nonsense.

The best local example of that can be seen in my very first involvement on Cone's blog.

They get back EXACTLY what they deserve from us.

  7. Bubba, I don't need Stew or anyone else to take you to task for your so called "blog". ALL of your last 34 posts contain links or images to other people's writing or content. That's all I'm trying to say.

This isn't about me, its about you and what you decide to do with your forum. If you choose to be a mouthpiece for others, that is your choice. But don't attempt to belittle me because I happen to make a completely accurate observation.

I actually enjoyed your post about your military service a few months back. That was the last original content I can remember from you.

  8. "This isn't about me"

Oh no, of course it isn't.

I don't need to justify my writing output to you or anyone else.

The amount of written material I have produced over the last 42 years is large, by anyone's standards. It has been done in academic and professional areas.

Much of it has provided an income for me, and has been published in print media both local and national. In addition, I have some broadcast media experience to compliment the print work.

This content of this blog is personal, and reflects what is interesting to me. I post items that I deem worthy of comment, and keep the intial posting as brief as possible. The idea is to engage the readers in comment.

I do not care about Technorati ratings, advertising revenue, "hits", my "reputation among fellow bloggers", and ultimately, I don't care about what you think about me or my writing. At my stage in life, I have no obligation to justify anything to anybody.

Some, like you, use blogs for other personal reasons unknown to me, and get nothing out of this material as a result. Hence, we see the kind of responses that you make.

Too bad. That's not my problem. It's your problem.

I am not responsible for your shortcomings.

Is that clear enough for you to understand?

  9. Perfectly crystal clear. It speaks volumes.

  10. "It speaks volumes."

It doesn't matter if it speaks volumes. Your world view filter never lets it get past your ears to be processed by your brain.

In your case, reality is useless.
