Human Rights for Terrorists But Not for Israelis?

Political biases at Human Rights Watch regarding the Qana Hezbollah photo op.

Noteworthy:

"After the initial reports of the incident on Sunday, any reasonably informed, fair observer could have noted that:

* Suspiciously, it was precisely at Qana ten years ago that an Israeli airstrike that killed a large number of civilians ended up causing Israel to call off its offensive against Hezbollah.

* Hezbollah in the current situation was hurting, losing men and weaponry to Israel’s ongoing campaign amid talk of an international force that would seek to keep it disarmed.

* Hezbollah is an Islamic terrorist organization that functions entirely outside the framework of morality—or at least of Western morality.

Such realities would have led any levelheaded person—at the very least—to withhold judgment after the initial reports of the airstrike and wait till more facts came in and the various versions were sorted out.

But that would have been far too much objectivity for Kenneth Roth, who in his zest to pillory Israel at every turn is little more than an ally of the barbarians."

  1. Thank you for the info Bubba. I’ve had the 3am “nags” by the name Qana, but couldn’t place where I had heard it. Knew it was important tho have been to busy to look it up. Now it all comes back. Wonder why the coincidence? for staging another “massacre” of innocent civilians. The children unfortunately were innocent. I simply can not conceive of a hate so strong as to allow your child to be killed, or to raise your children to believe suicide is honorable. What kind of monsters are these people? BB

  2. More about Hezbollah's staged Israeli "atrocity" at Qana.

  3. BB, these "monsters" are Islamic religious fascists who will stop at nothing, including the sacrifice of their own children, to achieve their goal: The elimination of all "infidels."
We should not be shocked at anything they do.
Unfortunately, many in the West, including many journalists, continue to think these folks are just like us, except they believe in a different God. That is, they believe the terrorists can be reasoned with or negotiated with, as we can be on serious issues. This is a grave miscalculation.

  4. "This is a grave miscalculation."

Indeed... until the Israelis start to load munitions with pork fat no one among the Islamofascists will take their resolve seriously.

It's not Kosher but, war is Hell.
