It's only a pretext for the Puppetmasters to rearm and re-energize the Puppets for the next round of mid east fun and games.
Despite coming from al-Reuters, this story shows one of the reasons we know that.
Expect to see some political changes in Israel. The last round of the conflict wasn't handled well enough for many Israelis.
Max Boot has more to say on the internal Israeli situation.
ReplyDeleteNo one expects this to last and in view of the masses, including Hezbollah, moving back into the South I am happy to see Israel pulling out of Lebanon as quickly as possible. If they don't their soldiers will be causght in a squeeze between Hezbollah south of them and the Lebanese Army north of them, with as usual a UN Peace Corp looking on as they are slaughtered. Care to give your prediction of how you see this thing going when it resumes? Brenda Bowers
ReplyDeleteThe fact that Hezbollah continues to exist means that they'll attack innocent Israeli civilians again. It's just a matter of where and when it will occur next.
ReplyDeleteThe real matter is when does it get finally settled?
ReplyDeleteThe answer to that ain't pretty.
In my opinion, it will only be settled when one side is no longer capable of waging war on the other. And you're right...that ain't pretty.
ReplyDeleteMy problem with this whole show is why the Israelis for the first time in 58 years allowed themselves to be "defeated"? Is it part of a larger plan that they have for the whole region since they did make sure to take out all of Lebanon's infrastructure? This is just not the way the Israelis conduct a war as Bubba, being almost as old as I am, can probably verify. I was only 7 in 1948 but spent much time listening to the news with my grandfather and he explained what was happening so I have in effect followed the Israelis all of their existence as a country. They ALWAYS have a plan. What do you guys mean by “it ain’t pretty?” Of course no action taken will be “pretty, but what do you see as the plan? BB
ReplyDelete"What do you guys mean by “it ain’t pretty?”
ReplyDeleteRound Two of this will be a LOT nastier, with a LOT more destruction.
If the Israelis want to wipe out Hezbollah, they'll have to treat it like pulling your own tooth.
ReplyDeleteTake a tight grip, grit your teeth, and ignore the pain and torment until the job is done. The world will condemn them, the mainstream media will side with the poor terrorists, and they will suffer for their actions. But...they'll be free of the nagging pain.
